As an NFT Ai artist, I know how overwhelming it can be to navigate the various options available in the NFT art marketplace. Not only as an artist but also thanks to my experience buying and hodling an NFT for 365 days for the Mint 365 collection alongside our daily podcast NFT 365.
Although I’ve bought, traded and minted NFTs on 20+ NFT marketplaces I’m still not an expert but It does provide me a unique perspective as NFT Founder, NFT Collector, NFT Content Creator and Ai Artist.
Over the past many months, I’ve sold out multiple collections and I’ve spent countless hours researching and using different marketplaces to sell my art, and I want to share my insights and recommendations with you.
In this blog post, I’ll focus on my top Ethereum blockchain options, as I believe these offer the best opportunities for each of my unique collections and other artists. I’ll take you through the preparation needed before choosing a marketplace for launch and then delve into my top choices: Known Origin, NiftyGateway, Foundation, and Manifold.
I’ll also share some of the lessons I’ve learned and the mistakes I’ve made along my journey of NFT art publication. By the end of this post, you’ll better understand the various NFT marketplaces available and be able to make an informed decision on which one is best for you. TLDR: (Full YouTube Video breakdown is linked at the bottom)
Before you start thinking about Where to sell, know this..
As an NFT artist, it’s important first to define what success looks like prior to diving into the marketplace. Are you looking to reach a certain number of sales or generate a specific level of revenue? Are you more interested in building a community of collectors around your art?
Defining your goals will help guide your decisions on which marketplace to use, how many pieces to include in your collection, and what type of collection to create.
Before we talk where??
We have to breakdown the mindset and strategy you have to have, and this is just my experience and views as an NFT founder, NFT Content Creator, NFT Collector & #AIartist🧵2/9 pic.twitter.com/PZkEx8wB1T

Once you have a clear understanding of your goals, you’ll want to consider other essential factors, such as the size and composition of your collection, whether you want to do a drop or dynamic collection, and the type of editions you want to offer (1/1’s or open editions).
Additionally, it’s essential to consider your target audience and where they are most likely to be found. Are you focusing on a specific geographic location or niche within the NFT community? Understanding your audience will help you make strategic decisions on marketing and promoting your art.

Now that you have a better understanding of the various NFT marketplaces available and the factors to consider when choosing one, let’s also remember there are more options on the Ethereum blockchain, not to mention other blockchains.
As always, Do Your Own DAMN Research, but I hope my experience and recommendations of Known Origin, Nifty Gateway, Foundation, and Manifold provide you with a place to start or, better yet, a home for your next NFT collection.
Each of these marketplaces has unique features and strengths that make them well-suited for different types of art and artists.
By carefully researching and comparing these options, you’ll be able to make an informed decision on which is the best fit for your art and goals.
